Logo design
Throughout the logo design process, I work in collaboration with the client to ensure that the end result truly reflects the values and style of their business.
This is how we work together:
- Consultation: We talk about your ideas, business goals, and what style, colors, or mood you want to convey with the logo.
- Research and Inspiration: I review industry trends and competitors to create a unique and competitive solution.
- Sketching: I’ll show you several initial concepts, from which you can choose the direction you like the most.
- Round of modification: Based on your feedback, I will improve the selected design until we achieve the perfect end result.
- Finalize and handover: I deliver the finished logo in different formats so that it can be easily used on all surfaces, from digital media to print.
My goal is to create a professional and timeless logo that will help you stand out from the competition and grab the attention of your target audience.
During the consultation, based on your ideas, the first step is to write a brief that contains all the essential information for me.
What does the brief contain?
- Market situation, sectoral research and getting to know the competition
- Brand Research
- Task description
- Objective and target audience
- Brand Characterization
- Media plan
- Define a style
Define the objective and target audience: you need to define who the logo is aimed at and what kind of business it represents.
Competitor research: in order to avoid similarities, it is important to get to know competing companies, companies offering similar products or services.
Sectoral research: it is necessary to examine the sector in which the company operates and to understand its characteristics, tendencies, habits and trends.
Brand research: it is necessary to define the brand value, the personality of the business, the message and the values that we want to identify with the logo.
Defining colors: it is important to understand the meanings, effects, psychology and effects of each color on emotions and find the colors of the logo based on these.
Form research: it is important to understand the meaning and effect of different shapes, such as straight, curved, round and angular shapes (e.g.: circle symbolizes unity).
I create a moodboard based on the brief, as logo design doesn’t start with the logo.
What does the moodboard contain?
The content of a mood board helps to determine the visual direction of the project.
- Color palette: Select and present your brand’s colors.
- Fonts: Suggested typographic styles for your design.
- Images: Inspirational images that convey the desired mood.
- Textures and patterns: Graphic elements that enhance the visual experience.
- Icons and graphics: Accessories for visual identity.
- Stylistic features: Unique solutions that determine the harmony of the image.
- Sources of inspiration: Links to other projects that may be indicative.
Together, these elements determine the appearance and visual style of a given brand.
